Mallory Michele Cupples - David John Grove III

Wedding vows were exchanged by Mallory Michele Cupples and David John Grove III at 6 p.m. Saturday, June 29, at Great River Lodge in Proctor. Jerry McNeer of Hillside Baptist Church, Holcomb, Miss., officiated.

Marianne and Bobby Cupples of Proctor are the parents of the bride. Her grandparents are Lucille and Emmett Gadberry and the late Bill Cupples, all of Hughes, and Mary Cupples of West Memphis.

The groom is the son of Sheri and David John Grove Jr. of Little Rock. He is the grandson of Wanda and Billy Bishop and Karen Cannon, all of De Queen, and Geneva and David Grove of Haughton, La.

The ceremony site was decorated with arrangements of seeded eucalyptus, blush roses and cotton bolls. French doors from a home of the bride's grandparents were used to make an altar. Music was by Jamie Baker and the VIPS.

The bride, escorted by her father, wore an ivory lace fit-and-flare gown with an illusion neckline and detachable cathedral-length train. She carried a bouquet of blush roses, peonies and cotton bolls.

Maid of honor was Ashli Byas of Southaven, Miss. Bridesmaids were Amber Crawford of Little Rock; Lindsey Lawson of Denton, Texas; Sara Grove of Washington; Spencer Freyaldenhoven of Conway; and Tiffany Pytron of Springhill, Tenn.

They wore blush-colored gowns in the style of their choice and carried bouquets of ivory roses.

Flower girls were Charlotte Ray of Maumelle, Eliza Rose Niehaus of Little Rock and Ellie Gingras of Rockwall, Texas. Ring bearer was Cal Gingras of Rockwall.

Blake Brizzolara of Little Rock was best man. Groomsmen were Austin Ingram, Shane Fletcher and Brad Hunter Heird, all of Little Rock; Austin Sarabia of Austin, Texas; and Channing Pejic of Washington. Guests were seated by Spencer Foster of West Memphis and Chance Byas of Southaven.

A reception, also at the lodge, was held after the ceremony.

The bride has a bachelor's degree in international and intercultural studies from Union University, Jackson, Tenn., and master's degree in public administration from Arkansas State University. She is a scheduler for a member of the U.S. House of Representatives.

The groom is a graduate of Ouachita Baptist University and has a bachelor's degree in political science. He is a research consultant at WPA Intelligence.

The couple will live in Washington and plan a delayed honeymoon.
