Taste of the Rock, held June 27 in the River Market Pavilions, was a showcase for restaurants, bakeries, caterers and distributors that are Little Rock Regional Chamber of Commerce members. But even better, it was a chance for attendees to try a wide variety of food and drink from the members.
Whether guests had a hankering for tacos or barbecue, Mediterranean food or shrimp and grits, more than 30 Little Rock area members were on hand to provide a variety of tasty treats and liquid refreshment. When done sampling, guests could vote for their favorite decorated booth and favorite food.
Winning best booth was Two Sisters Catering and coming in second and third were Las Palmas III and Cafe 201 at Crowne Plaza. Best Taste winner was Cafe 201, second place was Two Sisters and third was Buenos Aires Grill and Cafe.
One of the largest events hosted by the chamber, this year's event was held in partnership with the Arkansas Democrat-Gazette, Comcast Business and Little Rock Convention and Visitor's Bureau.
