Authorities found an 18-year-old lying in the intersection of 11th and Lewis streets suffering from multiple gunshot wounds Thursday morning.

A teen was killed early Thursday in a shooting in Little Rock, authorities said.

Little Rock Police Department spokesman Eric Barnes said officers responded to the area of 4200 W. 11th Street around 1 a.m., after dispatch received a call about hearing gunshots, as well as a female screaming that someone was shot. Around the same time, officers said they also received a ShotSpotter activation for the area.

Barnes said that when officers arrived they found Justin Bell, 18, lying in the intersection of 11th and Lewis streets suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Emergency services took Bell to the UAMS Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead, Barnes said.

Officers performed a canvass of the area and interviewed potential witnesses. Two mopeds were towed from the scene to be processed for potential evidence.

A police report listed two males as suspects but included no identifying information.

No arrests had been made Thursday.
