UA single-game tickets on sale
Single-game football tickets for the University of Arkansas' 2019 home schedule were made available to the general public Wednesday.
The tickets are being sold on ArkansasRazorbacks.com and include purchase options for the Razorbacks' six on-campus games against Portland State, Colorado State, San Jose State, Auburn, Mississippi State and Western Kentucky at Reynolds Razorback Stadium in Fayetteville, and regular-season finale against Missouri at War Memorial Stadium in Little Rock.
For the four nonconference games in Fayetteville, per-game ticket prices begin at $35 in the upper level, and lower-level seats begin at $50.
Upper-level seating for the Oct. 19 game against Auburn begin at $60, and $55 for the Nov. 2 game against Mississippi State. Lower-level seats for both of Arkansas' on-campus conference games begin at $85.
Season tickets are being offered for $250 in the upper level, for $360 in the lower level and for various other prices in club levels. The Razorbacks are also offering a three-game ticket package for any three games in Fayetteville, including the two SEC games.
All tickets for the Nov. 29 game against Missouri are being sold for $40.
Tickets are also on sale for the Razorbacks' Sept. 28 neutral-site game against Texas A&M in Arlington, Texas. Ticket prices for that game range from $85-$300 apiece.

Hogs pick players for SEC media days
The University of Arkansas will send the senior trio of McTelvin Agim, De'Jon Harris and Devwah Whaley with Coach Chad Morris to SEC Football Media Days next week.
The Razorbacks will appear in the Wednesday morning session along with Alabama in the annual event's return to the Hyatt Regency in Hoover, Ala. SEC media days were held at the College Football Hall of Fame in Atlanta last July, and SEC Commissioner Greg Sankey indicated then that the event is likely to move to different venues in the coming years.
Morris has invited an all-senior crew to media days each of his two seasons at the Arkansas helm, as Dre Greenlaw, Santos Ramirez and Hjalte Froholdt attended last year's sessions.
Agim, a defensive lineman, led the Razorbacks with 10 tackles for loss among his 45 tackles and 4.5 sacks last year. Agim has started 28 of his 37 games at Arkansas.
Harris led the SEC with 118 tackles in 2018 to become the first Razorback with back-to-back 100-tackle seasons since Jerry Franklin in 2010-11. Harris has been a second-team All-SEC selection from The Associated Press the past two years.
Whaley started the first four games of 2018 before injuries limited him to three appearances in the final eight games. He finished with 383 yards and 2 touchdowns on 82 carries. He piled up a career-best 165 rushing yards at Colorado State in Week 2.
The Razorbacks open training camp in early August in advance of their season opener against Portland State on Aug. 31.

Hogs add East Tennessee State transfer
East Tennessee State infielder Cullen Smith will transfer to the University of Arkansas, he announced Monday on his social media accounts.
Smith (5-11, 180 pounds) will have one season of eligibility remaining at Arkansas and would have to sit out the 2020 season without a waiver for immediate playing time. He will be able to go through fall practice this year with the Razorbacks.
Smith started 160 of 161 career games at ETSU and was twice voted second-team All-Southern Conference. He began his career at third base before moving to second base in 2018.
In 2019, Smith batted .304 with 14 doubles, 7 home runs and 30 RBI. He drew a team-high 42 walks and had an on-base percentage of .427. He batted leadoff to end the season.
Smith committed nine errors as a junior and had a fielding percentage of .963.
Smith, who bats left-handed and throws right, played high school baseball at Wilson Central in Lebanon, Tenn., about 30 miles east of Nashville.

Harding's Bray honored by GAC
Harding University offensive lineman Bryce Bray was named the Great American Conference Male Athlete of the Year on Wednesday.
Bray won the Rimington Award as the top center in NCAA Division II, earned first-team All-America honors by the American Football Coaches Association, and became the fourth player in program history to earn all-conference honors in all four seasons at the school. Harding won 40 of the school-record 50 games Bray started and qualified for the playoffs in each of his final three seasons. The Bisons reached the Super Region 3 final in 2016 and the national semifinals in 2017.
Bray is the first person from Harding to earn the honor and joins former Henderson State University quarterback Kevin Rodgers as the only football players to be honored.
GAC championship sites announced
The Great American Conference announced sites for its 2019-2020 championships on Wednesday, with several of them taking place in Arkansas.
Ouachita Baptist University will host the conference's cross country championship starting Oct. 26, while Bank OZK Arena in Hot Springs will host the volleyball championship Nov. 21-30. Harding University will host the men's and women's track and field championship April 16-18. Bentonville will host two events -- the women's tennis championship at Memorial Park on April 23-25 and the softball championship at the Tiger Athletic Complex on April 30-May 2.

All-Academic nominations sought
The Arkansas Democrat-Gazette is taking nominations for its 2019 high school All-Academic Team.
Seniors who graduated in the 2018-19 academic year and played at least one varsity sport are eligible. Only coaches, teachers and administrators may nominate athletes who finished in the top 10% of their class and scored a 25 or higher on the ACT. Please include a contact number, the student's college choice and probable college major in the nomination.
