Partygoers had a last look at artwork in the 61st Annual Delta Exhibition at a closing party June 28 at the Arkansas Arts Center.
The evening began with a wine reception in the lower lobby followed by a look back at last year's exhibit with the premiere of Delta 60, a documentary by Matthew Rowe featuring 10 artists from the 60th annual exhibition. After the screening, guests enjoyed drinks, appetizers and music from the movie performed by Isaac Alexander.
The 61st Delta Exhibition is the final one at the Arts Center before construction and renovation begin in the fall with completion scheduled for 2022. While under renovation and expansion, the Arts Center's home base will be in the Riverdale Shopping Center.
The annual Delta Exhibition was founded in 1958 and features art made in the Mississippi Delta Region.
