The Cons of Formant will perform at 8 p.m. today at South on Main in Little Rock. Admission is $10.

Fresh from a gig at the inaugural East Village Jam at the Clinton Presidential Center in Little Rock, the central Arkansas quartet has a new album titled Tributaries. With backgrounds in rock 'n' roll, blues and bluegrass, the bands comes together to make Americana and folk rock music.

Their music is featured on Spotify and Pandora, and is for sale on iTunes, Amazon and Google Play.

Hamdallah, an Atlanta native, combines garage rock, blues and early soul in his sound, which has been compared with that of Captain Beefheart, Flat Duo Jets and The Black Keys.

• The Gold Show drag show will perform at 9 p.m. today at Maxine's in Hot Springs. Admission is $5.

FRIDAY

The Looks, along with opening acts Moving Front, Stifft Beat and conGRATS, will perform at 8:30 p.m. Friday at White Water Tavern in Little Rock. Admission is $8.

The Looks are marking the release of the band's new album, in a show hosted by Max Recordings.

• Trey Johnson, along with opening act Becky, will perform at 8:30 p.m. Friday at King's Live in Conway. Admission is $5.

• Arlo McKinley & The Lonesome Sound will perform at 9 p.m. Friday at South on Main in Little Rock. Tickets are $7 in advance, $10 the day of the show.

Sammy Kershaw, Aaron Tippin and Collin Raye, touring together as the "Roots & Boots '90s Electric Throwdown Tour," will perform, along with opening act High Country, at 7 p.m. Saturday at Magic Springs' Timberwood Amphitheater in Hot Springs. Admission is $29.99, plus tax, after 7 p.m. (Admission to the park for the entire day ranges from $49.99 plus tax to $39.99 plus tax for those age 55 and older, $29.99 plus tax for military and first responders, $39.99 for children shorter than 4 feet and free for children age 3 and younger.)

• Whiskey Business, along with opening act Zach Mansfield, will perform at 8:30 p.m. Saturday at King's Live in Conway. Admission is $5.

Dylan Earl will perform at 9 p.m. Saturday at White Water Tavern in Little Rock. Admission is $7.

Earl will mark the release of his sophomore recording with an album release party.

SYNRG will perform at 9 p.m. Saturday at South on Main in Little Rock. Tickets are $10 in advance or $15 at the door.

Hair! Body! Face!, a drag extravaganza featuring Kitty Kouture as hostess and a rotating cast of queens, will perform at 9 p.m. Sunday at Stickyz Rock 'n' Roll Chicken Shack in Little Rock.

Admission is $10 for those over age 21 and $13 for those under age 21. Doors open at 8 p.m.

TUESDAY

Kings & Associates, along with opening act Ben Goldsmith, will perform at 7 p.m. Tuesday at Stickyz Rock 'n' Roll Chicken Shack in Little Rock. Admission is $10.

Kings & Associates, a blues-rock group from Australia, is touring the United States for the first time, promoting the band's latest album, Tales of a Rich Girl.

• Blu Skool, featuring alto saxophonist JJ McJunkins, will perform at 7 p.m., followed by Pattern Blu jazz session at 8 p.m. Tuesday at the Atlas Bar in Little Rock. Admission is free.

WEDNESDAY

Honest Men, along with opening act Joseph Tilley and Adam Ragsdale, will perform at 8 p.m. Wednesday at Stickyz in Little Rock. Admission is $10.

Cameron Ross will perform at 8 p.m. Wednesday at South on Main. Admission is $10.

Ross, a saxophonist, will perform as part of the "Jazz in July All-Stars" sessions, curated by fellow saxophonist MarQuis Hunt.

Pissin Comets, along with opening acts The Rush, Ventrikills and Lackluster, will perform at 8:30 p.m. Wednesday at White Water Tavern in Little Rock. Admission is by donation.
