The presidents reception June 12 at the Hot Springs Convention Center was one of many events at the Arkansas Bar Association's 121st annual meeting.
The event honored Suzanne Clark, president of the Arkansas Bar Association; Jason Hendren, president of the Arkansas Bar Foundation; and Judge John Fogleman, president of the Arkansas Judicial Council. Guests enjoyed drinks and a buffet of fruit, cheeses and other finger foods while mingling with the honorees.
The annual three-day convention hosted around 800 lawyers and judges from across the state in a joint meeting with the Arkansas Judicial Council. The convention included legal education, receptions, ceremonies and entertainment and, for the first time this year, a community service project called Feed the Funnel where volunteers packed meals for those in need.
