A new batch of young cooks will step into the Chopped kitchen to showcase their culinary skills in the new season of Chopped Junior, premiering at 8 p.m. Tuesday on Food Network. Ted Allen serves as host, and special recurring guest judges this season include Jessica Alba, Anthony Anderson, Nikki Bella, Kardea Brown, Clinton Kelly and Bailee Madison.

Through six episodes, the junior chefs must create delectable dishes using ingredients found in the mystery baskets over three rounds -- appetizer, entree and dessert -- with a limited amount of time to earn a Chopped Junior chef coat and a $10,000 prize.

This season's baskets contain some familiar ingredients as well as less common foods like beef tongue, a giant lollipop, alligator tenderloin and corn on the cob lemonade. In one episode, four talented kids take on baskets inspired by the movie Spider-Man: Far From Home. Those baskets contain ingredients from a country that Spider-Man visits during the film -- Italy for an appetizer, apfelstrudel from Germany for the entree round and English breakfast tea in the dessert round.
