Sophomore guard Marquis Eaton made two free throws with seven seconds left to lift the Red Wolves (13-17, 7-10) past the Warhawks (15-14, 8-9) in Jonesboro.

Arkansas State University led by as many as seven points in the fourth quarter before Louisiana-Monroe took the lead in the final three minutes on a three-pointer by Travis Munnings.

Ty Cockfield, who led ASU with 26 points, made a layup with 1:16 left to give the Red Wolves a 71-70 lead. Louisiana-Monroe's Tyree White gave the lead back to the Warhawks with a dunk with 34 second left before Eaton, who finished with 11 points, made the tying and winning free throws.

Grantham Gillard added 25 points for Arkansas State.

Daishon Smith led Louisiana-Monroe with 23 points and Munnings finished with 16 points.

The Warhawks (10-18, 3-13) rallied from a 32-25 halftime deficit with nearly double as many points as the Red Wolves (11-17, 6-12) in the second half to take the victory in Monroe, La.

Arsula Clark led Louisiana-Monroe with 33 points, including 27 in the second half. Amber Thompson added 16 points.

Peyton Martin led Arkansas State with 11 points, and Jireh Washington added 10 points.

Arkansas State shot 19 of 52 (36.5 percent) from the floor and made 10 of 13 free-throw attempts. The Red Wolves were 5 of 11 on three-pointers.

Louisiana-Monroe was 22 of 52 (42.3 percent) from the floor and 17 of 28 on free throws. The Warhawks made just 4 of 13 three-point attempts.

UALR 62,

LOUISIANA-LAFAYETTE 49

Kyra Collier and Tori Lasker led the way with 17 points each as the Trojans (18-10, 14-3) rolled past the Ragin' Cajuns (7-21, 5-12) in Lafayette, La.

Ronjanae DeGray had 12 points and 12 rebounds as she earned her ninth career double-double, and Terrion Moore posted 11 points and 10 rebounds.

After a tight first half, UALR outscored Louisiana-Lafayette 35-21 in the second half. Collier and DeGray each had 11 points in the second half.

UALR, which made 2 of its 10 three-point attempts, had just one point from its bench but took advantage of 18 points off of turnovers.

Andrea Cournoyer led the Ragin' Cajuns with 11 points.
