The Arkansas Supreme Court says it won't reconsider its ruling that blocked the city of Fayetteville from enforcing an ordinance banning discrimination based on sexual orientation or gender identity.

The court without comment denied the request Thursday from the city and LGBT advocates for a rehearing. In January , the state Supreme Court overturned a lower court's decision and ruled that Fayetteville can't enforce its ordinance because of a previous ruling that found it violates a law aimed at preventing cities and counties from enacting protections not covered by state law.

Arkansas' civil rights law does not cover sexual orientation or gender identity.

Meanwhile, a federal nondiscrimination bill that includes protections for LGBT people was introduced this week in Congress, but the measure faces a lack of GOP support.

Very good decision. Small business have enough to deal with without having to worry about firing a terrible employee and then being besieged by the government because they had no idea the employee prefers to breed with its own gender.

The Religious Restoration Act which allows discrimination(based on fear, and hate).I do not recall ever reading that Christ discriminated against anyone."COME ALL YE SINNERS".It is a shame being a Christian(Christ Like).Which is not practiced by enough Christians.

i have news articles of the past 10 years jim and as recently as january.
a woman wants to chemically castrate her son at 8 and is currently seeking to put him on a slowed growth regime.
when the child (5) is with the father he acts like a boy wears boys clothes and says he is a boy when the child (5) is with the mother he dresses like a girl and claims to be a girl.
since the mother has custody the father recently was ruled against in court he MUST ACCEPT AND NOT DISCRIMINATE the wishes of his child (mother) in the interest of mental harm.
now sir. let us reason together.
does any of this sound like child molestation to you?
