Catherine Margaret Motta - Lawrence Clark Morse

Catherine Margaret Motta became the bride of Lawrence Clark Morse at 6:30 p.m. Saturday, May 4, in St. Edward Catholic Church. The Rev. Patrick Friend of Catholic High School officiated.

Carol and Mike Motta of Bentonville are the parents of the bride. She is the granddaughter of Peggy and the late Billy Jordan of Germantown, Tenn., and Gene and the late Janet Motta of Memphis.

Parents of the groom are Missy and the late Greg Morse of Little Rock. He is the grandson of Lawrence D. Morse of Little Rock, the late Lois Morse and the late L.W. "Bill" and Barbara Clark.

The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore an ivory sleeveless gown with a full skirt and train. She carried a white bouquet of roses, peonies, snapdragon, calla lily and baby's breath.

Caroline Sorenson of Fayetteville was her sister's matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Amy Motta of Brookhaven, Miss., sister-in-law of the bride; Maddie Maginn of Conway; Shelby Maginn of Little Rock; Megan Belew of Fayetteville; and Kelley Apel of Fort Smith. They wore powder blue gowns and carried bouquets of white hydrangeas, snapdragons, calla lilies and baby's breath.

Flower girls were Sophie and Stella Green of Little Rock, cousins of the groom. Ring bearers were Payton, Whit and Jack Sullenger, also of Little Rock.

Best man was Carter Morse of Little Rock, brother of the groom. Groomsmen were Christopher Motta of Brookhaven, brother of the bride; Chase Miller of Fayetteville; Cameron Cronin of Little Rock; Trace Scruggs of Washington; and Aaron Tucker and Thomas Gring, both of Maumelle. Guests were seated by Brandon Sorenson of Fayetteville; Justin Eldridge, Drew Pierce and Dr. Charles Lavender, all of Little Rock; Dr. Jesse Wray of San Antonio; and Brandon Willey of Houston.

A reception at The Terry House followed the ceremony. Guest tables covered in white table clothes held candle lit centerpieces. Music was by Canvas.

The bride has a bachelor's degree in health education and a master's degree in health science from the University of Central Arkansas in Conway. She is an account manager with BXS Insurance.

The groom is a graduate of the University of Arkansas, Fayetteville, with a bachelor's degree in finance and is a financial analyst II with Simmons Bank.

The couple will make their home in Little Rock after a wedding trip to Great Exuma, Bahamas.
