Police: Woman, 66, shoved to ground, robbed of walker and purse outside Little Rock grocery store

A 66-year-old woman was shoved to the ground by a robber who then made off with her walker and purse Tuesday night in the parking lot of a Kroger in Little Rock, police said.

The woman was in the parking lot of the store at 1100 E. Roosevelt Road at about 7:30 p.m. when a person walked up to her, said “hi,” then pushed her to the ground, a Little Rock police report states.

The robber then took her walker and purse, which contained her ID and bank cards, before heading south, according to the report.

Authorities said a motorist passing by the area picked her up and drove around the area but could not find the robber or the stolen belongings.

The woman refused medical treatment, police said.

The robber was described as a male wearing all black who stood 5 foot 4 inches tall and weighed about 130 pounds. His race was listed as unknown on the report.

No suspects were named and no arrests had been made at the time of the report.
