Dr. Alexa Robbins - Steven Tyler Payne

Dr. Alexa Robbins became the bride of Steven Tyler Payne at 5:30 p.m. Saturday, May 11, in Asbury United Methodist Church. The Rev. Mary Hilliard officiated.

Cathey and Dr. Kenneth Robbins of Little Rock are the parents of the bride. She is the granddaughter of Sue Pace Gregory of Camden, Harold Campbell of Hot Springs and Jeanne Robbins of Searcy.

Parents of the groom are Angel and Steven Payne of Fort Smith. His grandparents are Myra Heyer of Van Buren and Barbara and Benny Payne of Barling.

The ceremony was decorated with arrangements of white hydrangeas, peach roses, white anemones and white garden roses. Music was by organist Diana Brandon.

Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a gown of lace and tulle with beaded shoulder straps and a sweetheart neckline. She carried a bouquet of white hydrangeas, peach and white garden roses and anemones.

Anna Robbins of New York was her sister's maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Shelby Cox of Dallas; Rachel Flowers of San Diego; Madeline Moffett and Bethany Morrison, both of Little Rock; Grace Robbins of Fort Collins, Colo., cousin of the bride; and Erin Wilson of Tulsa. They wore navy blue gowns and carried a smaller version of the bride's bouquet.

Flower girl was Charlotte Mann of Fayetteville and ring bearer was George Pate of Little Rock.

Best man was Chandler Payne of Fort Smith, brother of the groom. Groomsmen were Joe Daniel of Oklahoma City; Dave Gean of Fort Smith; Drew Harris of Edmond, Okla.; Zach Morhart of Rogers; and Quinton Wallace of Savannah, Ga.

Guests were seated by Eric Mann of New York, Robert Mann of Little Rock, and Ben Robbins of Hot Springs, all cousins of the bride.

A reception at the The Robinson Center William Grant Still Ballroom was held after the ceremony. The ballroom was decorated with garlands of hydrangeas, anemones and peach and white roses. Music was by Chinatown Band.

The bride graduated summa cum laude from the University of Tulsa with a bachelor's degree in biology and has a medical degree from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences, where she was a member of Alpha Omega Alpha. In July, she will begin an otolaryngology residency at Emory Healthcare in Atlanta.

The groom graduated from the University of Tulsa with a bachelor's degree in political science and is a student at University of Arkansas at Little Rock William H. Bowen School of Law.

The couple will live in Atlanta after a wedding trip to Italy.
