It is managed by a board of directors consisting of members from local churches and is certified by the State of Arkansas. Washington County

First United Methodist Church in Springdale, 206 W. Johnson Ave., presents an Encore Concert at 7 p.m. June 5 in the sanctuary. The concert will feature the church's favorite music from the past year. There will be performances by all three praise teams in a variety of musical styles from traditional choir to contemporary praise music. All are welcome to attend.

St. Thomas Episcopal Church in Springdale, 2898 S. 48th St., will hold its annual Trash & Treasures sale from 7 to 11 a.m. June 1. Unique items, household goods, toys, children's items and lots more will be available. Proceeds help support the various ministries the church provides.

Benton County

Bella Vista Community Church, 75 E. Lancashire Blvd., hosts Summer Arts Camp Monday-Friday, June 17-21, from 8:30 to 11:30 a.m. for kids entering grades one through six. More information is available at the Information Center on Sunday mornings or online at bvcc.net. This year features exciting new classes such as clay, weaving and dance including tap and ballet. Classes fill up quickly, so register today. Registration ends June 10.

The church celebrates its 45th anniversary on June 2 with one blended worship service at 10 a.m. in the sanctuary.

Bella Vista Christian Women's Connection will meet at 9 a.m. June 11 at the Bella Vista Community Church, 75 E. Lancashire Blvd.

The featured speaker is Amy Koogler, an interior designer. The guest speaker is Gayla Hicks. Her presentation is titled "The Path to Perfect." This brunch is held on the second Tuesday of every month, and an all-American breakfast is served for $10. The program is sponsored by Stonecroft Ministries.

The Prayer Connection meets at 9 a.m. on June 4 at St. Theodore's Episcopal Church, 1001 Kingsland Road in Bella Vista.

Bella Vista Lutheran Church, 1990 Forest Hills Blvd., invites caregivers for those who have had strokes and the survivors themselves to an idea-gathering discussion from 2 to 3:30 p.m. May 28. The group is called "Different Strokes for Different Folks" and meets on the fourth Tuesday of each month.

The church also seeks cereal and tomato sauce donations, as well as bags and boxes, for its Shepherd's Food Pantry as summer break from school approaches. Donations may be left in the pantry entry. Pantry hours are each Friday from 10 a.m. to noon.

First Presbyterian Church in Bentonville, 901 N.E. J St., hosts Vacation Bible School: To Mars and Beyond from 5:30 to 8 p.m. June 9-13 for children entering fourth through sixth grades. Each evening will begin with a supper at 5:30 p.m. for the entire family; families are asked to stay with their children for the meal. Adults and youngsters in grades seven to 12 are invited to volunteer. There is also registration available for a simultaneous adult education track. Register at fpcbentonville.org/vbs.

Life.Church of Rogers, meeting at Four Points by Sheraton at 211 S.E. Walton Blvd in Bentonville, is celebrating Family Weekend on June 2 with activities for kids of all ages.

During Family Weekend, parents will have the opportunity to attend a service while their kids get to have fun in LifeKids, the children's ministry for birth through sixth grade. Each week, kids learn about Jesus through age-appropriate activities, videos and small groups.

Before and after each service, the church will offer sno cones, yard games, an inflatable obstacle course and plenty of fun for the entire family. Services are held Sunday at 8:30, 10, 11:30 a.m. and 1 p.m.

The Presbyterian Church of Bella Vista, 1880 Forest Hills Blvd., hosts the next Women's Book Club at 10 a.m. May 30 in the church parlor. The theme for May is to read a book based on a true story. All women in the community are invited.

Community Blood Center will be at PCBV for the next blood drive from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. June 10 in Fellowship Hall. Church members can sign up in Connector Hallway. Community members can reserve a spot by calling the church office.

United Lutheran Church of Bella Vista, 100 Cooper Road, hosts the next Art 'N' Luther painting party at 6 p.m. May 31. Come prepared to listen to music and eat some tasty finger foods as well as painting a picture that you eventually take home. Tickets are $10; bring a friend and that ticket is only $5. Village Bible Church in Bella Vista, 1591 Forest Hills Blvd., opens the Oasis Food Pantry from 10 a.m. to noon May 29. This ministry is available to anyone in the area who needs help with groceries and would appreciate the compassion and encouragement of friendly volunteers. A potluck fellowship dinner will begin at 5:30 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall, and the community is always welcome. At 6:30 p.m. there will be singing, devotions and prayer for adults in the Worship Center. Infant and toddler nursery and Children's Church for kids are offered as well.

Community Blood Center of the Ozarks will have a blood drive at the church from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. May 31. It will be held in the Oasis Food Pantry Center. Call the church to sign up, or you may simply stop by.
