CROSSETT -- Eagles senior Justin Stokes threw two touchdown passes to help lead Crossett (7-3, 7-0 8-4A) over the Bulldogs (6-4, 4-3).

The Eagles scored first on a 13-yard pass from Stokes to sophomore Jackson Moore.

Star City responded in the second quarter with a rushing touchdown.

But Crossett followed quickly.

On the next possession, Stokes threw a 65-yard pass to sophomore Dewayne Ashford.

In the third quarter, Star City made it a 1-point game on a 69-yard rushing touchdown.

The scored stayed 14-13 until the final minute of the game.

Deep in Star City territory, Crossett forced a fumble. Eagles senior Deeraymond Herman recovered it and ran 4 yards for a touchdown.
