Home BancShares, Inc., parent company of Centennial Bank, announced that Jack Engelkes, director of Home BancShares, has been named as vice chairman of Home BancShares and Tracy French, president and chief executive officer of Centennial Bank, has been named as chairman of Centennial Bank. Home BancShares Chairman John Allison will serve as president and chief executive officer of Home BancShares.
EDUCATION
College of the Ouachitas has named James White as the new vice president for finance and operations. He will assume the position on Dec. 1.
HEALTH CARE
The Arkansas Center for Health Improvement, a nonpartisan health policy center in Little Rock, recently filled three positions on its leadership team. Danielle Taylor has joined ACHI as executive director, Sandra McGrew has been hired as director of external affairs and Michelle Kitchens has joined ACHI as director of governmental affairs and community outreach.
The Winthrop P. Rockefeller Cancer Institute at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences has announced the election of new members to its advisory board. Kenan Keyes of Little Rock serves as board chairman. Drew Chandler, executive vice president and chief financial officer of Farmers Bank & Trust in Magnolia; Rachel Parker Harding, Parker Automotive Group; Cindy Murphy, The Murphy Group; and Joe Clay Young IV, vice president-financial adviser for Merrill Lynch Global Wealth Management and owner of Young Investment.
Camille Y. Richards, M.D., recently joined Baptist Health Surgical Clinic-Dodson Avenue, as a general and trauma surgeon.
Vinisha Reddy Kota, M.D., has joined Baptist Health Specialty Clinic-North Little Rock and will provide specialty health services as a rheumatologist.
