CAMDEN HARMONY GROVE 46, CLINTON 14

CAMDEN -- The first half was close between the Yellowjackets (10-2) and the Hornets (10-2), but it didn't last long, thanks to a big third quarter from Camden Harmony Grove.

Both teams scored twice in the first quarter, as the game remained tied 14-14 until less than one minute to go in the half, when Camden Harmony Grove senior Zachary Smith threw a 9-yard touchdown pass to senior Xaylon Falls, their second scoring connection of the night.

Camden Harmony Grove led 22-14 at the half.

Junior Mecca Arnold ran 10 yards for a touchdown about one minute into the second half before adding a safety eight minutes later. Smith threw his third touchdown pass with late in the third quarter, a 6-yarder to Falls.

In the fourth quarter, sophomore Tobias Hicks ran 4 yards for a touchdown.

Arnold also had a 3-yard rushing touchdown in the first quarter.

Clinton got touchdown runs from seniors Weston Amos (2 yards) and John Riley Hinchey (60).
