The North Little Rock School District has an open school board position after the resignation of its Zone 4 representative.
Taniesha Richardson-Wiley left the position Thursday, according to a news release from the district. She announced in October her intention to resign from the board. Richardson-Wiley said she wanted to spend more time with her family.
The newly appointed board member for Zone 4 will serve until November 2020.
Anyone interested in filling the position should mail a letter of intent and a resume to Rhonda Colquitt, executive assistant to the superintendent. Letters and resumes should be mailed by 5 p.m. Dec. 10 to Colquitt, NLRSD Administration Building, 2700 N. Poplar St., 72114. They also can be emailed to acklinb@nlrsd.org.
