Washington County restaurant inspections

Critical violations are those factors that lead to food-borne illness and must be corrected immediately. Noncritical violations are defined as items that relate to maintenance of food operations and cleanliness.

Sept. 12

Critical violations: Spray bottles of chemicals were not labeled.

Noncritical violations: A bag of sugar was stored in contact with the floor. The interior of a refrigerator and the ventilation hood need cleaning. The lids for the garbage container and the grease containers were open; open buckets of waste grease were stored uncovered outside. Unused equipment was stored in the back room.

Noncritical violations: There were flies in a food preparation area. Rubber seals in a prep table and a walk-in cooler need to be repaired. Food contact surfaces need cleaning. The door to a prep table and a door to the walk-in cooler need cleaning.

Noncritical violations: Wet wiping cloths were hanging from the ceiling. Food employees were wearing bracelets. Nonfood contact surfaces need cleaning.
