CREEPY CHOREOGRAPHY

A creepy classic combines with dance as Ballet Arkansas opens its season with Sleepy Hollow, 7:30 p.m. Friday, 2:30 and 7:30 p.m. Saturday and 2:30 p.m. Sunday at the University of Arkansas-Pulaski Technical College Center for Humanities and Arts Theater, 3000 W. Follow the Yellow Brick Road as Dorothy, the Scarecrow et al. dance and sing their way toward The Wizard of Oz. BLUESMAN'S BENEFIT

Blues legend and Grammy Award-winner Bobby Rush headlines a fundraiser 7 p.m. Saturday at the Pine Bluff Convention Center, 1 Convention Center Drive, Pine Bluff. With the Arkansas Arts Center in MacArthur Park under reconstruction, the Arkansas Arts Center Contemporaries will hold its seventh annual Fountain Fest, 5:30 p.m. today, down the street, on the lawn of the Terry House, East Seventh and Rock streets, Little Rock. The event will feature food, music (by area duo Brian Nahlen and Jason Lee Hale), art-making experiences and libations.
