Where I live: The heart of the Capital city, not far from where Kingwood ends and the top of where Foxcroft begins. You can walk to the Little Rock Racquet Club, bike to the Big Dam Bridge, and drive to anywhere in the Heights, Hillcrest or Midtown in under five minutes.

Occupation: I'm in fundraising and development. Director of Business Development & Marketing at AEDD (Arkansas Enterprises for the Developmentally Disabled), a nonprofit organization committed to improving the lives of children and adults with developmental disabilities.

My favorite space is: The downstairs den

Why? It's the main area where I hang out with friends, my fiancé, Claire Barton, and our two lab/shepherds, Leo and Blake. I love that it's completely open -- right off of the kitchen, stairs and foyer. It's comfortable and cozy -- with a high ceiling, great lighting and big casement windows that hinge and open outward onto our nice-size front porch. It's not as formal as the dining room, with great built-in library and gas fireplace.

If I could make one change to improve this space, I would: Make the den bigger, more spacious. There's never enough seating without having people overflow into the kitchen and/or having to bring in a chair or two from the office/living room.
