Anna Kathleen Plyler and Nathan Alan Kerley were united in marriage at 5:30 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 1, in St. James United Methodist Church with the Rev. Carness Vaughan officiating.

Debbie and Bo Plyler of Little Rock are the parents of the bride. Her grandparents are the late Martha Ann Petty of Marion, the late Harold Gene Williams of Sherwood and the late Annie Lee and Hurley Plyler of Glenwood.

The groom is the son of Carla and David Kerley of Jonesboro, and the grandson of Billye and the late Carl Human and Diane and the late Cecil Kerley, all of West Memphis.

The church doors were decorated with two wreaths of greenery. The chancel held a large arrangement of white hydrangeas, white and blush garden roses and blush stock. Music was by organist Robert Lindley and trumpeter Lee Hinson.

Escorted by her father, the bride wore a 1950s-inspired taffeta gown with a full-circle A-line skirt with a pearl and crystal belt at the waist. Her cathedral-length veil was trimmed in satin. She carried a bouquet filled with white hydrangeas, blush roses, white ranunculus and spray roses.

The bride's honor attendants were Mary Kate Kemp of Dallas, Sarah Barlow of Memphis and Madeline Moffett of Little Rock. Bridesmaids were Lexis Atkinson, Nicole Bailey, Mary Hargraves, Jordan Northcutt, Nina Talbert and Gretchen Wood, all of Little Rock; Chelsey Bailey of Fort Worth; Megan Bennett of Aubrey, sister of the groom; and Elaine Hale and Katie McClatchy, both of Memphis. They wore navy gowns with V-necklines and full A-line skirts. Their bouquets were a smaller version of the bridal bouquet.

Flower girls were Gabby Himelright and Gracie Himelright, both of Memphis.

Kyle Day of Jonesboro was best man. Groomsmen were Tyler Bennett of Aubrey; Miles Brady; Marshall McDanie; Dr. Blake Plyler, brother of the bride; Billy Sherrill, all of Little Rock; Mason Cline of Springdale; Landan Cloud of Dallas; Logan Grant of North Little Rock; Dylan Sutton of Jonesboro; and Joe Thompson of Forrest City

A reception was held at Chenal Country Club. Guest tables held arrangements of white hydrangeas, white garden roses, blush roses, white snapdragons and variegated greenery. The stage for the band had a custom white facade topped with wedding flowers. Music was by the Memphis Soul Revue.

The bride has a bachelor's degree in nursing the from University of Arkansas, Fayetteville, and a master's degree in nursing science from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences. She is a nurse practitioner at Baptist Health.

The groom has a bachelor's degree in nursing from Arkansas State University at Jonesboro, and is an intensive care nurse at Baptist Health.

The couple will live in Little Rock after a wedding trip to Orange Beach, Ala.
