Sunset Lodge at Rusty Tractor Vineyard was the setting at 6 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 1, for the marriage of Mary Logan Thomas and James Colin Simpson. The ceremony was officiated by A.J. and Erin Green of Little Rock.

The bride is the daughter of Vanessa and Tom Russell of Little Rock and Jerry Lynn "Skip" Thomas Jr. of Mountain View. Her grandparents are Evelyn and Dr. Jerry Thomas of Little Rock, Martha Brown of Hot Springs and Joyce and Vance Brown of Jonesboro.

Parents of the groom are Judi and Dwight Simpson of Sheridan. His grandparents are Reba and the late Gilbert Smith of Sheridan and the late Jean and Cornelius Woodrow Simpson of Camden.

Vows were exchanged at an arch decorated with blue and white hydrangea and snapdragons and greenery on the patio of the lodge.

Given in marriage by her parents and grandparents, the bride wore a sleeveless tulle gown embellished with lace appliques. She carried a bouquet of white peonies, dahlias, white and blush roses, white anemone and light blue delphinium.

Matrons of honor were Ella Rindahl of Fayetteville and Katy Munna of Covington, La., sisters of the bride. Serving as bridesmaids were Elizabeth Thomas, cousin of bride, and Audrey Lockhart and Stephanie Cellers, all of Little Rock; Karenza Buhrow of Fayetteville; Sophie McGehee and Kadi James, both of Dallas; and Gracie Sorge of Manitou Springs, Colo. They wore gowns of light aqua and carried bouquets of blush and white roses, dusty miller, hypericum berries, snapdragon and anemone.

Flower girls were Abigail Burgess of Covington, niece of bride; Riglee Thomas and Tatum Thomas of Fayetteville; and Ridley Brown and Quin Sandifer of Little Rock, all cousins of the bride.

The father of the groom was best man. Groomsmen were Cameron Simpson and Connor Simpson, brothers of the groom, and Don Voss, all of Fayetteville; Colin Murchison of Wheat Ridge, Colo.; Brandon Womble and Ryan Harris, both of Benton; J.R. Baxter of Hot Springs; and Brenner Mabry of Little Rock.

A reception, also at the lodge, was held after the ceremony. Assisting were Erin Jefferson and Corbin Foster.

The bride graduated from the University of Arkansas, Fayetteville with a bachelor's degree in psychology and is working toward a master's degree in clinical mental health counseling from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. She is a graduate assistant at the University of Louisiana and a district manager for Arbonne.

The groom is also a UA graduate where he received a bachelor's degree in finance. He also has graduate certification in business analytics from the University of South Carolina. He is an officer in the Army National Guard and serves as a project officer and contract specialist.

The couple will live in Lafayette and plan a delayed honeymoon to Chile and Argentina.
