There were some winners and some losers at the pre-Super Bowl party held at Cranford Co. on Jan. 31. It wasn't football guests were watching though, it was a preview of the commercials at Super Ads LIV: Bites, Brews and Bragging Rights.

Hosted by Cranford Co. and the Peacock Group, guests enjoyed chips and sandwiches, before settling in to watch the ads.

Denver Peacock explained the event was a way to celebrate "the Super Bowl of our industry, which is the Super Bowl ads."

Jay Cranford introduced each commercial, talked about advertising trends and what it takes to make a good Super Bowl ad -- big stars and humor.

He also noted this is the one time of the year that Americans watching TV are excited about the commercials.
