Library anniversary
The Central Arkansas Library System is celebrating the 110th anniversary of the Feb. 2, 1910, opening of the Little Rock Public Library with a Library Square open house, 1-3 p.m. Saturday in the Galleries at Library Square, inside the Bobby Roberts Library, 401 President Clinton Ave., Little Rock. CALS will also set up displays by the nearby Ron Robinson Theater and the Bookstore at Library Square on River Market Avenue and serve special 110th anniversary refreshments. Admission is free.
