Boys

Springdale High 46, Prairie Grove 33

The Bulldogs grabbed an early lead and knocked off Prairie Grove in the Siloam Springs Holiday Classic on Friday.

Jordan Owens scored 19 for Springdale and Grant James added 10.

John Meyers led Prairie Grove with 12.

Bergman 87, Clinton 81 (OT)

Shelton Welsh scored five of his 30 points in overtime as Bergman knocked off Clinton in a battle of 3A-1 East Conference teams during the semifinals of the Northark Invitational Tournament in Harrison.

Elijah Royce, who has struggled with illness during the week, added four free throws in overtime and finished with 22 as Bergman (20-3) outscored Clinton 15-9 over the final 4 minutes. Ashton Fultz added 12 for the Panthers, while Chance Carter chipped in 11 and A.J. Van Lear had 10.

Valley Springs 76, Western Grove 50

Briley Saunier had 16 points to lead four Valley Springs players in double figures as the Tigers advanced to the championship game of the Northark Invitational.

Isaac Ragland added 16 points for Valley Springs, followed by Trell Trammell with 12 and Teagan James with 11. Zach Bolin led Western Grove with 17 points.

Clarksville 51, Dover 44

The Panthers outscored Dover 21-8 in the fourth quarter to rally for the win.

Clarksville trailed 36-30 after three quarters but used the big final quarter to earn the win.

Garrett Waddill poured in 28 points and added eight rebounds and four assists for Clarksville. Cole Clark added 13 points.

Berryville 59, Green Forest 24

Berryville blew the game open by outscoring Green Forest 23-3 in the second quarter as the Bobcats rolled to a nonconference victory.

Landon Chester had 13 points and Kade Davison added 11 for Berryville (11-4), which turned a 12-6 lead after one quarter into a 35-9 halftime cushion. The Bobcats had 11 different players score.

Coby Rincon had eight to lead Green Forest.

The New School 67, Flippin 56

Chase Ammons poured in a game-high 30 points and dished out eight assists to lead the Cougars to the win in The New School Classic.

The New School (18-1) led 39-31 at halftime and 52-44 after three quarters before pushing to lead into double digits in the fourth quarter. Senior Filip O'Bradovic added 10 points and 12 rebounds, while Jan Sturner also chipped in 10 points for The New School.

The Cougars returns to 1A-1 Conference at Alpena on Tuesday.

Mountainburg 53, Eureka Springs 42

Waylon Chuck had 19 points and Zach Jones chipped in with 16 points as Mountainburg (4-11) held on to beat Eureka Springs.

Bergman 73, Lead Hill 32

Shelton Welsh had 15 points to lead four Bergman players in double figures Thursday as the Panthers rolled to a quarterfinal victory in the North Arkansas College Tournament in Harrison.

Asher Fultz added 14 for Bergman (19-3), which jumped out to a 27-7 lead after one quarter. A.J. Van Lear chipped in 12 and Chance Harter had 11.

Girls

Rogers High 39, Mount St. Mary 29

Kate McConnell scored all 18 of her points in the second half to help the Lady Mounties pull away late for the nonconference win.

Rogers (9-4) led by four with 1 minute, 29 seconds left, but McConnell hit 6 of 6 free throws late to put the game away. McConnell also hit four 3-pointers.

Gracie Carr chipped in seven points and six rebounds for the Lady Mounties, who led 21-20 after three quarters.

Rogers Heritage 61, Gravette 50

The Lady War Eagles raced to a 21-6 lead after a quarter and cruised to the nonconference win.

Lanee Knight led three Lady War Eagles in double figures with 20 points, while Alex Pabon added 14 and Maddie Lynge 11. Heritage (8-6) led 37-16 at halftime as Knight (12) and Lynge (11) combined for 23 in the first two quarters.

Shylee Morrison led Gravette with a game-high 27 points, while Kaylan Chilton added nine.

Bergman 45, Norfork 32

Kara Ponder nailed four 3-pointers and finished with a game-high 23 points to put Bergman in the finals of the Northark Invitational Tournament in Harrison.

Valley Springs 62, Alpena 47

Maura Moore had 14 points as Valley Springs advanced to the title game at the Northark Invitational Tournament in Harrison. Valley Springs will face Bergman at 6:20 p.m. today in the championship game.

Alex Hill led Alpena with 20 points.

Clarksville 42, Dover 41

The Lady Panthers pulled out a thriller in 4A-4 Conference action Friday night.

The game was close the entire way, tied at 30-30 at the end of the third quarter.

Emmaline Rieder led the way for Clarksville with 12 points and Kenleigh Rieder added 10.

Paris 43, Lavaca 34

Jadyn Hart's 21 points carried Paris to a nine-point victory. Jacee Hart added nine points for the Lady Eagles, who led 23-13 at halftime. Sierra Lamb finished with 19 points for Lavaca.
