One Take: Multiple Exposures, A Study

MY PARTNER and I had just bought a house when the coronavirus really hit. It was kind of crazy, and I knew that I would just be staying around the house. So I just wanted to figure out a way to make the photos interesting. I started reading about hacks that you could do with the Polaroid to make it do a double exposure or triple exposure and just had a blast doing those and exploring the house. Even simple things like paying attention to the way the light moves in a house throughout the day. There’s an image in there that I did: It’s like three or four squares of light, and then you can see all these clouds in it. That is actually a window that casts light coming through a door onto a wall. So I tried to find things like that—you know, kind of exploring my new home, just in those kinds of ways.
