Church notes: Worship continues in online services

Washington County

First United Methodist Church in Springdale, 206 W. Johnson Ave., has temporarily moved worship services online in response to the covid-19 outbreak. The community is invited to worship online at FirstChurchSpringdale.org. The service is streamed live at 8:30 a.m. on Sundays but will be available for viewing any time.

St. Paul's Episcopal Church in Fayetteville, 224 N. East Ave., invites parishioners and others in need to connect online:

Sunday Mornings: Join in online at www.youtube.com/c/stpaulsfay. Worship is livestreamed at 8:45 a.m. on the church YouTube channel. Tune in live or watch any time after. Adult Formation is livestreamed on YouTube at 10 a.m.

Mondays and Wednesdays: Community meals are being served pick-up only between 10:45 a.m. and 12:45 p.m. outside the Welcome Center. Needle and condom distribution is also available. To volunteer, email kaitlyn@stpaulsfay.org. Shelf-stable food items, hygiene items and household products can be dropped off at the Little Free Pantry (outside the Welcome Center, next to parking lot) 24 hours a day.

Wednesday evenings: Join in online at www.youtube.com/c/stpaulsfay. Worship is livestreamed at 6:15 p.m. on the church YouTube channel. Tune in live or watch any time after.

Rector's Bible Study: Mondays @ 10 a.m. on Facebook live.

Benton County

Beautiful Savior Lutheran Church in Hiwasse,14070 Arkansas 279, will be holding worship services online only at www.BeautifulSaviorWELS.org.

Bella Vista Community Church, 75 E. Lancashire Blvd., will suspend Sunday worship services, church activities and events in the church building through March 30. The office staff and pastors will be working through the week and may be contacted at 855-1126 Monday through Thursday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Bella Vista Lutheran Church, 1990 Forest Hills Blvd., has canceled all worship services and activities in church buildings until further notice, including the food pantry. You can worship at Bella Vista Lutheran Church on Sunday via the internet at www.bvlutheran.com.

Highland Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) in Bella Vista, 1500 Forest Hills Blvd., will host no services until further notice. Small groups will not be meeting either. The Presbyterian Church of Bella Vista, 1880 Forest Hills Blvd., delivered 175 cans of soup, donated by church members, to Helping Hands of Bentonville and Care & Share of Gravette in March. Members have also been delivering produce to The Cottages across the street from the church once a month for nearly a year now.

During our church closure, an abbreviated worship service is recorded each week and is available on our website www.pcbv.org, under the "Worship" tab. On Sundays, the service will be posted to the Presbyterian Church of Bella Vista Facebook page.

All other church activities have been canceled through April 8.

Unitarian Universalists of Benton County, 1400 W. Walnut, No. 113, Rogers, has canceled Sunday services until further notice. Those who wish may attend worship services of the Unitarian Universalist Church of Fayetteville via Zoom can find a link at uufayetteville.org.

United Lutheran Church of Bella Vista, 100 Cooper Road, has suspended services and activities until March 30. Please know that we as a church are praying for everyone during this time. If you would like to pray with us, set an alarm or reminder for noon every day. We will be actively praying together -- even when separated -- because we are in this together.

Village Bible Church in Bella Vista, 1591 Forest Hills Blvd., is closed for the usual public prayer and worship gatherings, but members are having intercessory prayer via Zoom and Facebook Live (Village Bible Church) on Wednesdays at 6:30 p.m. and Sunday worship at 10:15 a.m. via Zoom, Facebook Live and the church's website www.villagebibleefc.org.

Additionally, the Oasis Food Pantry continues its ministry on Wednesdays from 10 a.m. to noon, serving for now in a "drive-through" fashion.

Village Bible Church encourages everyone to reach out to friends and neighbors through phone calls and social media. Let's encourage one another, pray for one another and help one another through this international health crisis.

The Bella Vista Prayer Connection which was to meet on April 7 has been canceled. The Bella Vista Christian Women's Connection Brunch which was scheduled for April 14 has also been canceled.
