Two people died Tuesday in highway incidents, according to Arkansas State Police reports.

A 28-year-old North Crossett man was killed at 6:21 p.m. on Arkansas 133 in North Crossett when he was hit by a 2014 Hyundai Sonata, according to a report. Jashon Daniels was lying in the roadway when the Sonata approached, the report said.

A 57-year-old Roe man died in a one-vehicle crash on Arkansas 146 in Stuttgart at 9:20 p.m. Tuesday, according to a state police report.

Denny Phillip Gunnell died when the 2004 Buick LeSabre he was driving ran off the highway, then crossed back over and struck a utility pole, according to the report.

Road conditions for both incidents were clear and dry, the reports said.
