CONWAY -- Jamaal Bethune rushed for 276 yards and 3 touchdowns on 14 carries as Conway (8-3) defeated Little Rock Central (3-5).

Bethune scored on runs of 75, 78 and 31 yards.

Ben Weese completed 17 of 31 passes for 288 yards and 3 touchdowns for the Wampus Cats, who will play Bryant in the Class 7A semifinals Friday.

Bryce Bohanon caught two touchdown passes, while Boogie Carr hauled in a scoring pass and added a rushing touchdown for Conway.

Conway led 20-0 in the first quarter with Weese's two touchdown passes to Bohanon and Carr's 10-yard rushing touchdown.

The Wampus Cats led 27-7 at halftime.

Lawson Gunn accounted for all three Tigers touchdowns. He had two rushing touchdowns and passed for another. Gunn finished 19-of-32 passing for 199 yards with a touchdown, and added 32 rushing yards on 16 carries.

Samuel Franklin rushed for 85 yards on 26 carries for Central.
