Northwest Arkansas health care providers have published an update each weekday about the status of covid-19 in the region, including its impact on hospitals and the health care workforce, since June, according to Martine Pollard, executive director of community, government and public relations for Mercy Northwest Arkansas. In Sunday's editorial urging residents to take measures during Thanksgiving to prevent the spread of the coronavirus, the frequency of those updates were understated.
