I am writing this letter to acknowledge and thank the wonderful people of Pine Bluff who have donated their time and resources to Neighbor to Neighbor this year.
In particular, I want to thank Carlton Saffa and Saracen Casino and Resort for the 400 turkeys we gave out for Thanksgiving. I want to also thank Kara Brown and UAPB for collecting food for our Thanksgiving baskets.
Students from sororities, fraternities, clubs, and organizations decorated their collection boxes with cheerful fall and Christmas themes and even loaded them into our van. Thank you all so much!
Neighbor to Neighbor would also like to thank all of the individuals and churches that have contributed to our holiday toy program by sponsoring these children. This program provides Christmas toys for families that might not otherwise be able to afford them.
We would also like to thank Simmons Bank for donating the wonderful hams for our holiday baskets.
We could NEVER serve the growing number of families in need if it weren't for the generosity of our dedicated and loving community. Happy Thanksgiving and happy holidays to you all -- and remember to keep Neighbor to Neighbor in your hearts.
