About wearing masks

After reading our governor's comment concerning the need for individual discipline in wearing a mask, I feel the need to state, it is not working.

During errand-running the other morning it was very apparent. At Sam's Club on Bowman Road, many employees and customers were wearing masks below the nose, pulled under the chin or dangling off one ear. Next door, at Walmart, there was a similar scene. The store managers were obviously ignoring the issue.

I am 64 (retired health-care professional) and my spouse is 71. We have co-morbidities that put us in the high-risk category. We have children and grandchildren we want to keep safe. Others' personal freedom to not wear a mask shows disrespect to humanity. Wear the damn mask!
