Drew Elizabeth Ford and Walter Ryan Herget exchanged marriage vows at 5 p.m. Friday, Oct. 16, in a private outdoor ceremony at the Mansion on Turtle Creek in Dallas. Lisa Cage officiated.

Parents of the bride are Kelly and Shannon Fleming of Little Rock and Rodney Ford of Atlanta. Her grandparents are Curt and Dana Kinard of Baton Rouge, the late Dorothy Kinard and Marie and Thurman Ford of Benton.

The groom is the son of Pamela Boerner and Lou Anne and Eric Herget, all of Little Rock. He is the grandson of Jeanette Flemister and the late Carl Flemister and Carol Allin, all of Little Rock and Richard Herget of Heber Springs.

Their ceremony was held on the terrace. The bride wore a strapless column gown of magnolia-colored silk with a chapel train. She carried a nosegay of white miniature calla lilies and lily of the valley.

A drive-by reception was held at Heights Corner Market in Little Rock, owned by the groom's father and stepmother. Decorations included a large balloon display, posters of the couple in their youth and from the wedding ceremony. For drive-by guests, the couple distributed small bottles of Champagne tagged "Sip, Sip Hooray! Drew and Ryan October 16, 2020," and miniature cupcakes. Brian Nahlen, singer and guitarist, played background music for the drive-by.

The bride graduated with a bachelor's degree in political science from the College of Charleston where she was president of Phi Mu fraternity. She is employed with Ernst & Young in talent acquisition.

The groom is a graduate of the University of Mississippi with a bachelor's degree in business administration. He is president of WRH Ventures.

The couple are at home in Little Rock and plan a honeymoon at a later date.
