Kathryn Kay Hutchins became the bride of William Kristopher Hezel at 2:30 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 17, in Anthony Chapel at Garvan Woodland Gardens, Hot Springs. Officiating was the Rev. Jennie Williams of Elm Springs United Methodist Church.

Karen and Doug Hutchins of Little Rock are the parents of the bride. Her grandparents are Doris and Edward Klinkovsky of Temple, Texas, and Sue and the Rev. David Hutchins of Livingston, Texas.

The groom is the son of Bonnie and John Williams of Southaven, Miss., and William Hezel and Debbie Davis of Memphis. His grandparents are Clara and Lloyd Thomas of St. Louis; the late Lucille M. Jones and the late Henry Hezel, both of Memphis; the late Alberta Ornsby of Vineland, N.J., and the late David Ornsby of Toms River, N.J.

The chancel was decorated with candles and greenery. Music was by pianist Betty Morgan and flutist Sharon Burral.

The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore a ball gown of soft pearl organza with a strapless scoop neckline and handmade organza rosettes cascading down the front skirt. Over the bodice, she wore a sheer short-sleeve jacket embellished with a Swarovski crystal and pearl design. She carried a bouquet filled with roses, sword fern, calla lilies, spray roses and hypericum berries in fall colors.

Katy Long of Edmond, Okla., was matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Taylor Krcha of Belton, Texas; Meagan Marchand of Gonzales, La.; Sarah Scoggin of Kansas City, Mo.; and Kelley Hashemi of San Francisco, sister of the bride. They wore off-the-shoulder gowns of hunter green chiffon and carried a smaller version of the bridal bouquet.

Serving as best man was Alex Jamerson of Memphis. Groomsmen were Ian Alexander of Cordova, Tenn.; Zack Prentice of New Orleans; Brandon Smith of Beech Bluff, Tenn.; and Kirk Hutchins of Belton, Texas, brother of the bride. Guests were seated by Thomas Hezel and Lloyd Hezel, both of Memphis.

A reception was held at Hot Springs Country Club. Tables were decorated with fall colored arrangements, gold pumpkins and candles.

The bride has a bachelor's degree in informatics from Baylor University and a doctor of optometry degree from Southern College of Optometry. She is an optometric doctor at James Eyecare & Optics Gallery.

The groom is a graduate of the University of Mississippi with a bachelor's degree in criminal justice and a bachelor's degree in nursing from Baptist College of Health Sciences. He is a charge nurse at CHI St. Vincent.

The couple will make their home in Little Rock.
