Benton County

Bella Vista Community Church, 75 E. Lancashire Blvd., continues to suspend non-ministry events and Kids Connect until further notice. Church ministries may meet during office hours by appointment only through the church office. Please call the office to set up your meeting time.

Join us for worship Sundays at 9 a.m. (traditional) and at 11 a.m. (contemporary). We are following social distancing guidelines for a safe and healthy worship experience.

The Lutheran Hour is broadcast every Sunday at 12:30 p.m. on radio station KURM-AM (790) and KURM-FM (100.3).

The Men's Bible Class meets on Wednesdays at 1 p.m. and again at 7 p.m. in Classroom 3.

A new Inquirer's Class started at 8:45 a.m. Oct. 25 for those interested in the Lutheran Church or anyone interested in a refresher course.

The Shepherd's Food Pantry is open on Fridays from 10 a.m. until noon. Distribution of the special Thanksgiving meals begins Nov. 6 for three weeks. All food handlers wear face masks and ask that visitors also wear a mask and practice social distancing.

First Presbyterian Church in Bentonville, 901 N.E. J St., will hold an outdoor, drive-in evening vespers service at 6 p.m. this Sunday in the south parking lot.

The FPC Food Pantry is operating as a drive through on Saturdays from 9 to 11 a.m. Please bring something (utility bill, etc.) that shows you are a resident of Benton County, and the church is glad to serve you.

Unitarian Universalists of Benton County, 1400 W. Walnut, No. 113, Rogers, have canceled in-person services until further notice. Unity Church of the Ozarks, 2200 S.E. J St., Bentonville, is grateful for the success of the recent coat drive, which gathered more than 60 coats for distribution to those in need.

On Sunday, "What the World Needs Now" will be presented by the Rev. Elise Cowan at 10:30 a.m. on Facebook. On Wednesday evenings, Larry Owensby presents a short message and a meditation posted on Facebook. These can be viewed at a later time.

Unity Church has placed a Little Free Pantry by the front door of the church at 2200 S.E. J St. in Bentonville. Please help yourself when needed and help others by donating.

Washington County

First Presbyterian Church in Springdale, 100 S. Gutensohn Road, hosts Sunday morning worship services, both in-person and livestreamed, beginning at 10:30 a.m. Online worship services are available on YouTube and through the church's website.

Sunday morning in-person discipleship opportunities include "The Life of Jesus; Theology for Today" and study of the book "Fierce" with Women of Faith. All begin at 9:30 a.m. Study of Present Word via Zoom is at 9 a.m. Sundays. FPC Kids B.L.A.S.T. is in person on Sundays at 9:30 a.m. The B.L.A.S.T curriculum and resources are also available on the church website.

Chime Time is a new youth musical learning opportunity. Children grades one through eight will learn to play chimes in a physically distanced setting on Sundays from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m.

In-person Student Discipleship "Lifing" activities for junior high youth in grades six to eight will be from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. on Sundays and for senior high students in ninth through 12th grades, 4:30 to 5:30 p.m. All events will be outdoors with masks and distancing in place or virtual.

Wednesday afternoon StuGroups are a mid-week check-in and devotional. Students in grades 9 to 12 meet from 5:00 to 6:00 p.m. Arkansas Presbytery hosts Sundays Together youth Zoom events on the first Sunday every month from 5:00 – 6:00 p.m. These meetings replace the Presbytery's in-person fall Youthquake event.

Outdoor office hours with the Rev. Kade Curry are offered Mondays 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. and Wednesdays 1 to 3 p.m. Call the church to set a time to meet at an outdoor location of your choice.
