A $187.3 million project to widen a section of Interstate 30 in Saline County will require closing a Benton street well into March, according to the Arkansas Department of Transportation.
Leander Street will be closed between South Street and the I-30 eastbound frontage road through March 19, weather permitting, to allow crews to install pipes, perform grading and lay asphalt.
Traffic will be controlled by signs and barricades, the department said. Adjacent property access will be provided during the closure.
