Event aims at suicide prevention

The D'Andre Seals Suicide Prevention Outreach Project will present a Virtual Suicide Prevention Conversation from 6-7:30 p.m. Thursday on Facebook Live at DSOutreachProject.

The D'Andre Seals Suicide Prevention Outreach Project is a nonprofit, 501c3 organization.

"We lost Dre to suicide in 2014 and it's our passion to reach other youth who may be suffering," according to a news release from Stuff in the Bluff.com.

Thursday's conversation will feature: Kymara Seals, founder and president of the D'Andre Seals Suicide Prevention Outreach Project; Mary Meacham, board member for American Foundation, Arkansas Chapter for Suicide Prevention and chair of Educational Programs; Bessie Lancelin, director of clinical services at Southeast Arkansas Behavioral Healthcare System; and Dr. Stephen Broughton, M.D., at Southeast Arkansas Behavioral Healthcare System.
