Mabelvale man held in two theft cases

Little Rock Police arrested William Mobbs, 22, of Mabel-vale on Wednesday in two theft cases in the past week, according to an arrest report.

A victim filed a report about a stolen vehicle from the 6900 block of Scott Hamilton Drive, a probable cause letter said.

Officers responded Tuesday to Dr. John’s Lingerie and Novelties Adult Shop and saw the business had been broken into and about $1,800 in cash and goods were taken from the store, according to the letter.

Detectives spoke with a relative of Mobbs, who told police he was seen driving the stolen vehicle, the letter said.

Police located the vehicle and detained Mobbs, who later admitted to both crimes, according to the letter.

Mobbs was taken to the Pulaski County jail where he has no bail and is charged with two felony counts of theft of property and felony commercial burglary.

Police in LR arrest ’20 robbery suspect

Little Rock Police arrested Devin Bullock, 18, of Little Rock on a robbery charge from early 2020 after finding him in possession of marijuana early Tuesday morning, according to an arrest report.

Bullock was taken to the Pulaski County jail on the warrant and drug charges where he is held in lieu of $100,000 bond. He is charged with felony aggravated robbery and misdemeanor possession of marijuana.

Wrong-way driver faces gun charge

Anthony Scott, 37, of Sparkman was arrested by Jacksonville Police during a traffic stop Tuesday morning on drug and gun charges, according to an arrest report.

Police stopped the Toyota Camry he was driving at 4:50 a.m. for driving the wrong way on a one-way road near 100 N. Elm St., where he was found to have bloodshot eyes and slurred speech, with marijuana visible in his vehicle, the report said.

A search of the vehicle found a black handgun, which Scott could not possess because of a felony charge, according to an arrest report.

Scott was taken to the Pulaski County jail and is no longer on the jail’s roster. He is charged with felony possession of firearms by certain persons, misdemeanor driving under the influence of drugs, misdemeanor possession of marijuana and misdemeanor refusal to submit to a chemical test
