The Pulaski County sheriff's office has opened a homicide investigation after finding a 40-year-old man suffering from a gunshot wound in a residence Friday night, according to spokeswoman Kristin Knox.
Deputies were sent about 8:45 p.m. to the 16000 block of Hidden Valley Trail where they found Christopher Gaskill injured, Knox said. He subsequently died.
Detectives questioned several people inside the residence Friday night, according to Knox.
Fellow spokesman Lt. Robert Garrett said investigators detained 73-year-old Marty Louis as a possible suspect.
