Church plans drive-thru food event

House of Bread Deliverance Church, 500 S. Main St., will open its drive-thru food pantry Monday from 1-4:30 p.m. or until the 250 boxes of food run out.

The church will give away food on a first-come, first-served basis. Only one box will be given per household. Police officers will direct traffic at the giveaway, according to a news release.

It will be a drive-thru process because of the pandemic, and everyone is required to wear a mask. Everyone must bring proof of address (utility bills and driver's licenses). All clients must fill out new intake forms for 2021, according to the release. Details: House of Bread apostle, Saint Mary Harris at 870-872-2196.
