Maumelle is hiring for several positions in its Public Works Department, according to a city Facebook post.
The city lists an administrative assistant position, a laborer position and a sanitation thrower as the three open, full-time positions.

Jacksonville force
The Jacksonville Police Department has a handful of people starting at the police academy and in field training this month, spokeswoman April Kiser said.
Nine recruits were sworn in Jan. 6 and began training Jan. 10, Kiser said.
Three more officers will begin field training Jan. 24, Kiser said.
