North Little Rock narcotics unit seizes drugs, cash

Members of the North Little Rock police narcotics unit arrested Royce Weaver, 36, of North Little Rock on Friday after he was suspected in multiple drug transactions, according to an arrest report.

Officers stopped Weaver's vehicle about 3:40 p.m. near 800 W. 24th St. They reported seeing cocaine in the vehicle.

A search resulted in 39 grams of cocaine, marijuana, digital scales and $915 in cash, the report said.

Weaver was taken to the Pulaski County jail, where was being held without bail, charged with felony possession of cocaine with purpose, felony possession of drug paraphernalia and misdemeanor possession of marijuana with purpose.
