Pilot killed in northeast Arkansas plane crash ID'd

The pilot killed in a crash near Paragould last Tuesday has been identified, according to the county coroner.

An aircraft crashed shortly after 9:30 p.m. in a field and caught fire, according to a preliminary crash report from the Federal Aviation Administration.

The pilot of the single-pilot aircraft has been identified as 28-year-old Hunter Drope, according to Dick Pace, Greene County coroner.
