Man arrested in Easter morning fatal shooting in Little Rock

Little Rock police arrested and charged a 19-year-old man with first-degree murder on Monday in the early morning Easter shooting that left a woman dead.

Zabion Bealer was charged in connection with the homicide of Joanne Bell, 21, of Little Rock, according to a Little Rock Police Department tweet. No address was available for Bealer on Monday night.

Bell was shot at the intersection of Geyer Springs and Baseline roads.

12:05 p.m.: Little Rock police ID woman fatally shot Easter morning

Little Rock police identified on Monday the woman who was fatally shot Easter morning at the intersection of Geyer Springs and Baseline roads.

Authorities said in a tweet that the woman was Joanna Bell, 21, of Little Rock.

The department first confirmed the homicide on Twitter about 10 a.m. Sunday.
