Camden, circa 1908: The Cotton Belt Railroad Depot was built in 1903 where the tracks crossed Washington Avenue. Frequent passenger trains were met by horse-drawn hacks that took passengers and luggage to downtown hotels. The depot was demolished long ago, but the Missouri Pacific depot, built in 1913, survives in the booming city.
