Several people were injured in a shooting near War Memorial Park on Friday night, according to a Twitter post from the Little Rock Police Department.
Police were advising drivers Friday night to avoid the 600 block of University Avenue, located just north of the Interstate 630 overpass.
A call came in around 7:20 p.m. Friday reporting the shooting, department spokesman Mark Edwards said. He wasn't able to provide more details as of later Friday night.
