LR police say gun pointed in threat
Little Rock police arrested a man early Tuesday after his girlfriend said she was threatened with a stolen gun, according to an arrest report.
Anthony Boykin, 27, of Little Rock held a gun to his girlfriend's head several times and threatened to kill her, police say, leading them to arrest him about 3:15 a.m. Tuesday at his 6600 Lancaster Road residence.
The gun Boykin is alleged to have used to threaten the woman had been reported stolen in Jefferson County, and Boykin had a warrant from Sherwood police.
Boykin is charged with three felonies -- terroristic threatening, aggravated assault and theft by receiving, according to the report.
Use of bear spray leads to charges
Pulaski County deputies on Tuesday night arrested a man who is alleged to have injured his former girlfriend and another person by spraying bear spray into their tent during an attempt to get back a missing cellphone, according to an arrest report.
Deputies arrested Michael Cotner, 38, of North Little Rock just before 10:45 p.m. at 7505 Shadrick Road in North Little Rock.
Cotner reportedly thought his ex-girlfriend had his cell phone and sprayed bear spray into a tent his former girlfriend and another person were in, causing "physical damage" to them, the report states.
Cotner is charged with second-degree battery, a felony.
Man in NLR shot in leg, police say
A person was shot in the leg Wednesday evening in North Little Rock, a police spokeswoman said.
Police responded to the shooting on Blossom Street and found a man with a nonlife-threatening gunshot wound to the leg, North Little Rock police Sgt. Carmen Helton said.
