A 43-year-old Sweet Home man who killed his 62-year-old father with a series of bone-breaking blows to the head he said he couldn't remember inflicting was sentenced to 40 years in prison on Tuesday by a Pulaski County Circuit judge, who rejected his self-defense claims.
