Little Rock police have arrested a man who faces a capital murder charge after a man's body was found last week, according to a tweet from the Police Department.

Omarion Taylor, 20, was arrested on Friday in connection with the death of James Moore, 30, the tweet stated.

Police located Moore’s body Sunday in the 2600 block of West 12th Street, but they determined that the killing happened a day earlier and about a block away near West 11th and Thayer streets, the tweet states. The apparent site of the killing is less than a quarter-mile south of Interstate 630 in Little Rock.

Personnel with the state Crime Laboratory have determined that Moore's death was a homicide caused by a gunshot wound, police spokesman Mark Edwards said Saturday.

Taylor was being held in the Pulaski County jail on Saturday, the jail’s online inmate roster showed.
